Crawshaw Academy celebrates strong 2026 GCSE results, with 71.9% achieving grade 4+ in English and 72.4% in maths, exceeding national figures.

This half term has been one of celebration, opportunity and achievement at Crawshaw Academy. Following the highest GCSE results in Pudsey this summer, it has been wonderful to begin the new academic year with such a positive sense of momentum. We were delighted to welcome our new Year 7 students into the Crawshaw family, and we have been immensely proud of the confidence, enthusiasm and maturity they have shown as they have settled into life at secondary school.

As we reach the end of another academic year, it is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on all that has been achieved at Crawshaw Academy and to thank you for your continued support, encouragement and partnership. This year has been filled with success, growth and memorable moments. Our students have demonstrated resilience, determination and ambition in their learning, embracing challenges and making excellent progress both inside and outside the classroom.

At Crawshaw Academy we believe that good health and wellbeing is essential for successful learning and happy lives for children and young people.
At Crawshaw Academy, we work hard to try and make what we do as relevant as possible to the world of work. Within lessons teachers consciously attempt to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding that employers want.
We are the academy’s Parent Teacher Association. We want to help promote Crawshaw Academy within the local area and to demonstrate the considerable talents of our young people.
